Mandy - Sunday Update

Mandy is home with us, and so a little better. She is still not eating much at all (only about a 1/2 cup of food since she came home on Saturday) - but somthing it better than nothing. She had dropped another two pounds while at the vet, leaving it so you can feel most bones, and we need to help her stay warm.

With time, rest and the proper medications she should start feeling better relatively soon. It will take a bit of time to put the weight back on her, and she will need to be on a special diet, and have regular ultrasounds and bloodtest - but she is obviously happy to be home.

    We’re glad to hear she’s home where she belongs. Our continued prayers for her recovery, and hopefully she’ll be able to put up with a brief visit from Cindy next week…with Cindy’s parents along to see the humans in the house, of course. ;-)

    Hey, guys - we think about Mandy all the time. Phoebe wants Mandy to know that she has friends down in N.C.! We hope you’re all doing well.
