I’m glad that we (Crystal, really) gave Mandy a middle name.  It gave us yet another thing to remember her by and pass down, which really means she is with us every day.  I’m shocked at how many things Kira has in common with Mandy, and they’re not genetically related!  And I’m surprised by how often I’m asked where the middle name came from, which gives me an excuse to tell people all about Miss Mandy!  As I sit here typing this, I’m looking at a picture of Mandy helping Crystal get ready for our wedding, I’m reminded just how big a part of our lives she was, and still is today.  It’s more accurate to say that she shaped who we both are as people, and that is a very good thing.

Miranda Jane - we love and miss you so much, and are always thinking of you.  Truly you are always with us and will always be a part of us and our family.
